Jeff Ellsworth, an outfielder who anchored Canada’s silver medal performance at the 2006 Pan-Am softball championships, was named the senior male athlete of the year.
Announcements
Mayor Clifford Lee,Tourism Charlottetown President, David MacKenzie and Softball Canada President, Kevin Quinn, announced that the 2010 Senior Men's Canadian Fastpitch Championship will be hosted in Charlottetown, with the Charlottetown Fawcettes Senior Men's Softball Club as host team. Competition will be held at Central Field Complex from August 29th - September 5th, 2010. Softball PEI congratulates the City of Charlottetown on their successful bid.
